I’ll admit it. I like most of the attorneys I have met over the years. I know they have their place and can be very helpful. Often, they’re absolutely necessary. But sometimes I just need a simple legal document (maybe a promissory note or a simple bill of sale) and don’t want to spend a lot of money getting it. Maybe you do too.

We often hear about business books that make the New York Times bestseller lists, but we may not hear about books that don’t, although some of those can be fantastic. One of my all-time favorite books is called Go for No, by Richard Fenton and Andrea Waltz.
Written in a story format that takes about an hour or so to read, the book helps salespeople get a handle on how to approach sales differently. Instead of simply going for the “yes,” which is what most salespeople do, it teaches that “no” can actually be one of your most powerful assets.
