Go for No

We often hear about business books that make the New York Times bestseller lists, but we may not hear about books that don’t, although some of those can be fantastic. One of my all-time favorite books is called Go for No, by Richard Fenton and Andrea Waltz.

Written in a story format that takes about an hour or so to read, the book helps salespeople get a handle on how to approach sales differently. Instead of simply going for the “yes,” which is what most salespeople do, it teaches that “no” can actually be one of your most powerful assets.

This is the kind of book you’ll want to hand out. Over the past year, I’ve probably given 20 of them to clients and other people I know. And some of those people have ordered additional books for their salespeople. If you’d like to order a copy, visit GoForNo.com and Andrea will be glad to help you.
